How it works

One identity owns the silence at a time.
To take it, pay at least 2× what the current owner paid. Right now that is $1. You may pay more; we never choose a higher amount for you.
Everyone sees the same price. There are no hidden fees, no personalized prices, no timers.
Your card is authorized first and charged only if you become the owner. If someone else completes a purchase a moment before you, your authorization is released and you are not charged.
When someone pays more, you stop being the owner, and you stay in the public record forever.
Before paying you write a short message and, if you want, one button link. They appear only after Stripe confirms your payment.
There are no accounts or passwords. We email you a private owner link; with it you can edit your message, choose a name or stay anonymous, and prove you control a domain or an X account, for as long as you hold the silence. Verification means control of that identity, not endorsement.
What you buy: the position itself, its exclusivity while you hold it, and its permanent public record. Nothing else.
